Pattaya Sanctuary of Truth

Pattaya Sanctuary of Truth or Prasat Satchatham Temple is a wooden temple, located by the sea. The temple is entirely built with wood. The beauty of the temple is elaborated through wood dwellings and wood carvings. It is considered an exotic and imposing architectural work of art of the century, embellished with artwork and woodcarvings which reflects the intellect and spirit of the Eastern civilization and art. It also reflects the importance of religion which has helped to uphold the world. The temple received the award of Outstanding Tourist Attraction from the Tourism Industry Awards in 2008. The huge building is more than 100 meters high, built on an area of almost one acre on Rachvate Cape overlooking the sea in North Pattaya. Modest clothing is recommended out of respect for the religious and cultural significance of the site. Shoulders and knees should be covered, and visitors are advised to wear comfortable shoes as the site requires some walking.
